See what this site sends
Site Search's privacy page says what the site sends and where. You do not have to take that on trust; every browser can show you.
On a computer
- Open the tool. Press F12, or Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows and Linux, or Cmd+Option+I on a Mac. That opens the developer tools.
- Choose the Network tab and press its clear button so the list is empty.
- Use the tool as you normally would: open a file, edit it, export it.
- Read the list. Everything that leaves your browser appears there with the address it went to. You should see requests to this site's own address for its own files, and nothing carrying your content anywhere.
On a phone
Turn on aeroplane mode after the page has loaded, then use the tool. If it keeps working, it was not sending your work anywhere; it could not.
What you will see
- The page's own files from clandrix.com.
- Small files from sponsors.clandrix.com: the list of other network sites and the sponsor list. They carry nothing about you and are requested before you have done anything.
- Nothing else. In particular no request that starts after you open a file and carries data.
If you ever see otherwise, write to support@clandrix.com with what you saw. That would be a defect and it would be fixed.
